CBS is supposedly working on a new version of 70's cop staple Hawaii 5-O (as well as Streets of San Francisco). The show will be produced by the executive producer of Criminal Minds.
This shouldn't come as a surprise since CBS crime shows routinely are set in exotic locales where gorgeous half naked babes can cavort around to a blasting rock score before someone winds up dead in a very bizarre manner. And David Caruso channels Jack Lord every time he sighs and opens his mouth.
ABC is working on a TV version of the 1987 comedy, The Witches of Eastwick, with a devilish Jack Nicholson and Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer as the witches. This one will probably come off more like Devilish Housewives.

Maybe we can post our views on who should be in the cast. The original as we all know had
Steve McGarret Jack Lord
Danny Williams - Tim O'Kelly and James MacArthur
Chin Ho Kelly- Kam Fong
Zulu - Kono
Governor Richard Denning
So we cast 5 parts
Chris McGarret Steve's son
Second in command
Asian Officer
Native Officer
Governor
