Quiet in the courtroom! The Honourable Judge Fantine is now entering the courtroom!
Thank you ladies and gentlemen. Before I allow you all to sit down, I have something to say. My name is Officer Byrd, and I am providing security for the upcoming edition of Timeline® beginning this September, which will be presided over by the Honourable Fantine. You will all behave and follow by the rules of this courtroom, which are as follows:
1. You will speak only when spoken to. In other words, I don't want to hear any lip until the Timeline® question is asked, and not a peep after you have answered.
2. There will be absolutely no cheating allowed. I have a taser, and my taser trigger finger is very itchy!
3. You will address the the judge as "Your Honour" or "ma'am". Failure to comply with this basic professional courtesy will result in me putting your sorry ass in a choke hold.
Are we clear on these rules?
Judge Fanny: Very nicely done, Byrd. You've earned your paltry salary for the day.
No problem, Judge. Just doin' my job. Speaking of, the next item on the docket is the case of the State of Colorado vs. Cale, one charge of cocaine possesion, one charge of staying out after midnight, and five charges of impersonating a well-known musician.....
