SIBELIUS Isn't it a Jeopardy law that when in doubt, Finnish composer = Sibelius, Norse composer = Grieg, Swedish composer = get with the program, Swedes? Not that I'm in doubt, of course, but you could have saved time and just said what Finnish composer? Ha!

Hungarian. One of those oddities you come across in the trivial world that don't seem to go together but that tends to stick in the darker recesses of the trivial mind...

When I hear "Alsatian physician" it usually brings only one name to mind, Albert Schweitzer.

Gulf of Bothnia? I know it is up there somewhere and I think the Gulf of Finland is the southern arm.

Speaking of counting, are you going to run into trouble with the wording of your question? Namely that there are more than two other members of the Finno-Ugric family currently spoken in Europe. Karelian (spoken in parts of Russia) is definitely a member, and Sami ("Lapp") may or may not be a member--Wikipedia's Sami article implies that there is some disagreement among linguists, but the Finno-Ugric article lists it in its chart.

Yeah, spending a little time as a QoD Meister gives you on-the-job training in how to write solid questions. My
intent was more like, "Name one of the two Modern European languages who names are identical (in adjective form) to the names of the countries for which they are official languages."
But I think it's easier to leave out the fine print and just hand out points for answers I didn't anticipate!
