My dad told me that one would open up in Hell before the Cubs win the World Series.
I hope the builders unions would go on strike.

My Rockies being eight games out and all. And the Pirates being even more, despite extensive sniffing by some.

I'm not rooting for the Cubs. Nothing personal, I just don't root for any team from Chicago.
Down here in Houston, the 'Stros are doing their best to get back in the Wild Card race but a 7 game winning streak has somehow only increased their deficit to Milwaukee.
OK, not "somehow". The Brewers have won 8 in a row.

No matter where you go, there you are.

Yeah, the Rockies have been disappointing this year given how they performed in the last part of last season. And it wasn't just the 21-1 stretch; they were very good from about June 2nd through the last out of the NLCS. I seriously doubt that they have another 21-1 run in them. And even if they do, it might not be enough given the hole they keep digging for themselves.SportsFan68 wrote:GO CUBS!!!

The Rangers are the Rangers, and they are way behind the Angels in the AL West. Since I'm sick of the whole Yankees-Red Sox thing, I'll probably be pulling for the Rays, at least until the regular season ends.
