Quite a shock...

Sunflower is not feeling well and decided to stay home today...imagine my surprise when I stumble out of my bedroom in my jammies and fine that my front door is no longer attached to the frame.

Okay, yes, I told my property management company that "just about any time" would work for this repair (the door jamb had water damage and was rotting). But a phone call would be nice. Maybe a quick knock on the door. I'm honestly not sure how they did it so quietly that it didn't wake me. The putting it back on part is happening now and is quite loud.

Now that I'm over the initial shock that someone had broken into my house, I am glad the work is getting done (and thank goodness for condo living that I'm not paying a dime for this), but geez can't a girl get some quiet time on a sick day???

To clarify something here, it wasn't really a break-in, right? Just decaying wood?

I'm sure the noise is a little bothersome now, but I think you'll sleep better later when you have an actually door in place again!

At least you don't sleep in the nude. (or weren't today anyway)

Yeah, no break in, just decaying wood. But they had to remove the door to fix it!

I hope that you were wearing nice jammies.
