As much as I have loved all of my animals, I can't imagine cloning any of them as a replacement. There are so many animals out there that need homes.

Speaking of animals needing homes, I got to play with my buddy Xamine again this week. (Maddie and I worked at the greyhound shelter for 4 1/2 hours this week!) Maddie thought that I would just play with him during my entire "cuddling" time, but I made sure to rotate through the dogs in his kennel group. I wish that I could take all of the dogs in the kennel home, they are all so sweet.

You have something against the advancement of science, lady?

I love the last line. Mean, but, hey, she deserves this after what she did.

Oops. Allegedly did.

My initial reaction to the story, when I read about the cloning only in Newsweek or Time, whichever it was that just came, was "who would name their dog 'Booger' anyway?". Now we know. Allegedly.

In ancient Greece, hubris referred to actions which, intentionally or not, shamed and humiliated the victim, and frequently the perpetrator as well. It was most evident in the public and private actions of the powerful and rich. The word was also used to describe actions of those who challenged the gods or their laws, especially in Greek tragedy, resulting in the protagonist's downfall.

This is a near perfect description of the Bush (43) Administration.

What, completely off topic and from where, no one knows?

More crazy from Joyce, the Ugly as Sin, dog cloner

No she's not cloning ugly dogs.
Dog cloner Joyce McKinney sought over burglary to fund horse's wooden leg
An American dog lover who garnered global attention after having her pit bull cloned and then admitted to being the woman accused in a 1970s British sex abduction case is now being sought on charges of plotting a bizarre burglary in Tennessee.

If she would have herself cloned, we could have a whole new set of Christmas fruitcakes to mail around the world.

What a nutjob! It has to be rare for a fugitive, let alone one who fled prosecution in two countries, to be such an attention whore.

Yet another aspect of this story just broke. They found chained on a bed, spread eagle in her basement, both clad in latex with ball gags in their mouths, none other then Judge Crater and D. B. Cooper!

---Jay (If you know how old Ving Rhames was when he potrayed Judge Jones in the movie RFK, then you will also know the number of days until my episode is scheduled to air)
