Oh boy! I hope that I get some zucchini!

How can I spread the word of this magnificent celebration to my own neighbors? I would be happy to keep my porch light in whatever state of lumination that would facilitate the zuchhini deliveries.

Evil Squirrel likes zucchini - he just told me in chat. Maybe he'll leave Annie some.

I got some at work from a very nice coworker on Wednesday...but what an extra treat it would be to find some on my porch!

If someone were to bring some over, I'd even cook some up for them!

We had bumper crops prior to moving here. I have so many yummy recipes. I gave it away, I used it for our family and just all over loved it.

I miss it.

I'm wishin' someone would leave some piles of Bengies on my stoop.

I'll tell my wife this.

We're overflowing with zucchini this year.

And last night we had freshly-grown corn on the cob- which was sweeter than anything that we've been able to buy in the stores this summer.

Yum yum!

You all can have all you want from our garden. Feel free to come and pick anytime---we have more than enough. I am already weary from eating it at least every other day. Now, the yellow squash is a tad slow this year. I will also have available plenty of winter squash--best I have had quantity wise since I started this gardening thing.

Our corn will be ready in about a week and for a couple more weeks after as I planted rows a week apart.

I will finish cleaning up the beans and peas this weekend. Sweet peas were awesome this year.

Half a dozen quarts of dill pickles put up so far and I should get well over 24 quarts this year.

What I really do the garden for is the tomatoes--they are slow also this year so I we will not have any until later in the month. Have had a couple of cherry tomatoes and those are coming right along--great snack food.

I can't grow any veggies or most flowers up here as the deer would eat them.

Wow, heaven in your backyard! Now all I need are a few spicy peppers, some eggplants, a few bell pepper, onions, lettuce and some crooked neck squash and I'd be set!
