I misread your title at first. I thought "Who would want to buy an old OU running-back's suit?"

What I want to know is, does Pea have an Elvis suit?

And how much would it go for?

Sir, I take offense. I am not an Oklahoman. I lived in financial exile in Tulsa for 5 years.

Besides, people with oil money can saturate any media market with coverage of their favorite teams. Barry Switzer coached a running back by the name of Elvis Peacock in the 70s or 80s. Those teams were purty good so they got a lot of TV time anyway.

That's the exact thought I had.

"Peacock's Elvis suit sells... for only $64,000" :P

Ha, I was trying to think of a "Call me when they put up Elvis' Toast Patterns suit" but it doesn't work out as neatly.

And I couldn't think of a damn thing for Grbac.

I loved it when they used to announce "Ladies and gentlemen, J.J. has left the building!"

Of course, I was really just in my dressing room firing up a doobie, but it was enough to shoo away the groupies....
