Lineup order matters less than getting rid of the delusion that Juan Pierre deserves to start, much less lead off.littlebeast13 wrote:dodgersteve182 wrote:please move Manny to the third position in the lineup. that's all.
He needs to worry more about the proper way to use pinch hitters....
That's even more of a problem than having two $9,000,000 reserve outfielders....

M is batting fourth in the lineup but Jeff Kent is the new #3 guy, he is 2 for 2! Much better than Martin in the 3 spot!
Manny has hit his 4th homerun in 6 games as a Dodger!!!

Pierre just hit an RBI Triple in the 4th! I'm sure glad Torre doesn't read your posts!

WTG! Lilly! Maybe the Cubs will hold up and we will have the first ever Blue/Blue NLCS!lilyvonschtupp26 wrote:Hey Dodgersteve,
I went to last Sunday's game and saw Manny hit a dinger. I got a Coke family 4-pack. I'm not so sure about the Dodger dogs. . . Had a great time up the 1st base line and brought home a win for you.
Manny is certainly in a groove.
Not to be picky, but what about 1988?dodgersteve182 wrote:WTG! Lilly! Maybe the Cubs will hold up and we will have the first ever Blue/Blue NLCS!lilyvonschtupp26 wrote:Hey Dodgersteve,

Dodgers/Mets in 88. Never Dodgers/Cubs, although Steve Garvey did the Cubbies in as a Padre in 84.ToLiveIsToFly wrote:Not to be picky, but what about 1988?dodgersteve182 wrote:WTG! Lilly! Also, as things shake out now, it's more likely we'll meet in the NLDS than the NLCS
Yes, but isn't Dodgers/Mets Blue/Blue?dodgersteve182 wrote:Dodgers/Mets in 88.
