Hawaii-bound jet evacuated at LAX

Passengers were evacuated by inflatable chutes Tuesday when a Honolulu-bound aircraft made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport after someone smelled smoke in the cabin.

Some passengers probably just started a fire to keep warm, since they couldn't afford the blankets anymore.

You really don't want to be heading out over the ocean unless you are sure your plane is not on fire.
