They take the test and passers are called back later that day?
Tests start at 7AM? How early should they show?
About 75 in each test group?
What are the application questions for passers?
Any other info I need to know?
Thanks in advance.
Good luck to your ladies, Kusch! Hope you'll post how they did.
My group in Sacramento (really a small town 1 hour away) started at 7am. I arrived at 5:30 and was number 138 (just checked my magnet). There were almost 400 in that first group, then way less at the second from what i heard later.
We were done with the tests by around 9:30 or 10:00am, I don't remember exactly but passers had approx. 3 hours to fill out the app, eat lunch, and return. I
still wish I'd thought to ask the front desk for a xerox of my completed form! - So i'll suggest it from now on: if you find the opportunity, it would be good to make a copy to keep handy if one needs to prep for a next time.
Try to avoid being interviewed by the little blonde meanie (

)... But when she asks, "what do you do that makes people laugh," try to prepare answering with something that actually will. Meanie just gave a fake smile. Don't take it personally.
Also, for "occupation," unless you do something out of the ordinary I'd suggest coming up with a startling title just to break the ice -- a dumb example is: "Executive Butt Wiper" then explain you're a stay-at-home mom - you get the idea...
Be prepared to answer questions quickly, but thoroughly and confidently, cuz they switch 'em fast. Jay's advice is really good too.
The list below is compiled mostly from questions previously posted here by helpful BB’s, also some of what I can remember from my questionnaire and interview. They won’t ask ALL of these on the same day, but are some of what i was able to gather that’s shown up over time.
Questionnaire:
What would Meredith find most interesting about you?
What is the first thing you would do with $1 million dollars?
Complete this sentence: You’d never believe it but I …..
I could be in the Guiness Book of Records for?
What is it about you that the audience would find really compelling?
Is there anything else we should know about you?
What is your most embarrassing moment?
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done to make money?
Do you have any good dating stories?
What is the worst job you’ve ever had?
If you could vote yourself as best ________ or most-likely-to ______, what would it be?
Have you ever appeared in a newspaper, magazine or TV before? If so,where and why?
If you were on a deserted island, what five things would you want with you?
Do you have a “deep, dark secret?”
What cartoon character do you resemble?
These are questions the interviewer may ask you in person:
Why do you want to be on Millionaire?
If you made it to the Hot Seat, what is the first thing you’d tell Meredith about yourself?
What is your occupation?
What is the one thing you do that makes people laugh?
How would $1 million change your life?
