qualify! (no response address given).

ABC’s hit television show, “Wife Swap,” is searching for financially savvy families to be considered for upcoming episodes of the show. The show’s producers are searching for parents who feel strongly about the importance of learning financial literacy at a young age, and who are taking the initiative to help their children understand the importance of money management and investing. They would like to hear from folks with unique budgeting systems and other ways of staying on top of spending and teaching their children monetary responsibility.

To be considered for the show, families must consist of two parents (not necessarily married) and have at least one child between the ages of 5-18 living full time in the home. Families chosen for the show will receive a $20,000 honorarium.

I can't get why any family who has ever seen this show would ever try out for this show.

Reason 1. Families chosen for the show will receive a $20,000 honorarium.
Reason 2. Fame. They will live on YouTube 4evR.
Reason 3. See reason 1.

Mrs. Rexer loves this show. I have told her that if she should apply and get casted for this show, I will not be held responsible for the physical condition of the freak-show woman who shows up to temporarily take her place.

So, if TPTB are looking specifically for a "financially savvy" couple, you know that they'll be paired up with the most spendthrift couple on the planet.

You gonna try for this one, dodgersteve? Think the wife you get in the swap can squander more than the $20K honorarium before you get your own wife back?

About a year or so ago, there was a producer at one of the area malls who was casting for a show called 'America's Busiest Families' - he showed up a few days later (scheduled) at our house around 6:30 am to see how we get everyone out to all their varies locations. Never heard back from them - must have been beaten out by all those other families with 12 kids!
