When it Rains

#1 Post by TheCalvinator24 » Sun Aug 03, 2008 2:30 pm

It pours.

Lots of crap at work since I got back from vacation.

Some personal stuff has been double-plus ungood.

And today, the compressor for our Air Conditioner went out.

It's only 104°, so we shouldn't get too hot before the repair gets here to charge us time-and-a-half.

Sorry to hear about that Cal. A/C stuff sucks. I had some earlier. The quick fix was about $200. I still need to do the $2,400 long term fix.

The news has been talking about how hot it is in the Dallas area. I hope the A/C is fixed very soon as well as all the other stuff.

A/C guy is outside now. Need a new motor in the compressor unit. Part is $170. Labor is $105/hour.

It could have been a LOT worse.

Tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 105 or 106 so I'm glad you're getting it fixed now. Hope all the other stuff works out.

Well, almost $500 later, my house is cooling down.

Actually, it feels quite nice.

Now, if the work crap will go away, I can go back to my easy-going ways.
