The life expectancy of a squirrel

I looked it up.
The average length of a squirrel's life is only about one year, because of the high rate of accidents, injuries, predatory enemies, and jaywalking. The maximum life expectancy for a non-evil squirrel who doesn't throw apples at dogs or otherwise go out of his way to accumulate bad karma is approximately 10 years.

Time to get my throwing exercises in. My cousin in Colorado just shipped me a whole box of beautiful pine cones....
