Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 14

Two more weeks ...
More cleaning by me. Sad version - a lot of it is still from Midnight in one form or another. The inexpensive area rug over the hardwood floor in the kitchen was there for her benefit. I rolled it up today, swept and then hit the floor with the WetJet Swiffer. Yesterday was steam cleaning of the carpet in the entry and living room. It feels like a little more of her is leaving the house with each cleaned area. And I'm still hearing echoes ...
BD is working on miscellaneous stuff - seating plan, some more packing, music decisions, other details. GW is working on her dress. She had me, of all people, pin up an underneath section in back where it hung down an extra quarter-inch for about two feet of hem. I hope I got it right. No one will notice, of course, since the underneath is the same color as the dress itself ("Beautiful dress. Too bad there's a quarter-inch hanging down in back." Uh-huh, sure.).
Voting is now open on whether I should post my wedding toast here. If yes, then should I put it in the blog (only for those who bother to read it), or a general post for everyone to look at? I sent it to the ASL interpreter on Friday. Her response was that it made her "verklempt". I guess that's good.
Back to laundry and more cleaning. If nothing else, the floors will be in good shape.
