Robert Whited, from Shillington, PA, is supposed to be taping Millionaire today, too!

He's another reluctant auditioner, who only went along with a friend who wanted to audition.

"Nope. Just saw this as I was passing by. Wife's always telling me I should be on this show and I thought it might be a hoot to try out."
This is a quote from my next road audition interview. If audition is in NYC, the second sentence will be replaced by "Was coming to NY on business/vacation and figured I'd sign up."

Don't forget, "What's this line for?"

I've tried something close to this, and it didn't work for me.
I was on a business trip to Washington DC for a few days, but there was one day where I didn't need to be at any particular meeting. So I hopped Amtrak to NYC still in my business suit, tie, and with my ID badge that clearly showed I was supposed to be elsewhere.
Maybe that was too desparate?!

Did the ID badge show that your business was in Washington?

When they saw the game show list on your application that probably blew any chance of a possible 'just on a lark' cover.

No. Just that he was an escapee from his m-i-l.
