I don't remember for sure which part of IL the Tennis Dude's in, but you might also want to check with LilyVonSchtupp and Geoffil.

Please do not read an insult into my question, Ms. Netsch. I just thought I remembered the Tennis Dude mentioning Galesburg. FTR, my brother-in-law is an Illinois native, I just wanted to be able to provide my sister with some additional information. I used to live in Peoria. Galesburg is like Peoria but smaller. Considering the price of gas, why are they looking in the Quad Cities area for a home? That'd be at least a 60 mile drive.

My hunch is that real estate prices in Galesburg aren't like those in SoCal or NYC, requiring a 60 mile commute to find something more affordable.
