Not a good day #1 (see other thread) edition.

We forgot about the ketubah. Actually, BD did. I thought she had given up the idea when we saw the cost. Apparently not. She's checking on the expedited service to get one in time.

GW is working on her own dress finally. No idea what needs to be done with it. Doesn't matter. She'll just look even more gorgeous than she usually does, as hard as that is to believe.

I will start the prayers to the rain gods or whatever to stop this cycle of "might rain, might not" that we've been going through for two weeks now. We need perfect weather on the 10th. Got any squirrels to sacrifice? Maybe just a nekkid dance will do.

Need to go out and get some kosher wine for the kiddush (blessing). It'll be the sickly sweet stuff, just to be traditional. I may look to see if there's something better that BD might like. She's not much into wine.

I can see why!....

"The ketubah is not part of the Jewish marriage ceremony, however, the groom and bride may not engage in marital relations, although the marriage has been completed, unless two valid witnesses have signed a ketubah."

Makes me wonder what else BD assumed was being done that wasn't.

Breathe and then breathe some more.
