... deciding which of these people I cannot stand more.

Lady G watches "So You Think You Can Dance" and, in the background (I don't watch it), I can hear the cackle of this person named Mary. It causes the hair on the back of my neck to stand up every time this woman issues one of her "nails on the blackboard" laughs.

Then, there is this guy, Billy Mays, who seems to be pimping products on virtually every channel now. I used to be able to flip him off (figuratively, of course) whenever he would pop up on one channel. Now, he's everywhere - screaming at me to buy something that he's selling. I am running out of hiding places from his commercials. At least he hasn't popped up on radio yet.

Just wait a few minutes. Billy Mays will be right here.

He may (ha!) be annoying, but I find myself wanting everything he pitches. I absolutely HAD to have some Atomic Putty. Then when it finally hit the As Seen on Tv section at BB&B, I'd forgotten what I wanted to do with it. Once I see Billy on with it again, I'm sure he'll remind me.

Occasionally there are ones that are better than most of the schlock on the tube passing as entertainment. Not often though.

I can never pass up the etrade baby. Even though I don't like stock commercials and I don't like baby commercials (or babies, particularly).

The guy doing the voiceover totallly sells it for me.

We Tivo the Superbowl so that we can watch the commercials and skip through the game.

For 90% of what's on TV, the commercials are the best part of the show....
