Broken tree update

Gone. Our neighbors, who were on vacation all last week, told us that we could get into their back yard through a double gate on the other side of the house. The tree guy was extremely relieved when he saw it, because the job was going to be incredibly difficult. Our new quote was literally one-third the original.
He came by Friday around 6:00, and was done by 7:30. The first half-hour was moving around stuff at the gate (firewood and some other items) so they could get the cherry-picker truck through. Wide enough, but a bit of an angle once he got inside.
If we need any more work, he's the guy. We were impressed. And glad he could make it on Friday, because there was a major storm yesterday that took out some trees and telephone poles in the next town. Didn't want to stress our broken tree with another windstorm, but it was already gone.
