I bought a new iron three months ago. I bought a Shark, mostly because it works for lefties and it has automatic shut off.
I was trying to iron clothes today and it wouldn't work.
I called customer service.
I will give you one guess when the customer service call center is located.

I've been getting sales calls from AT&T, trying to get me to switch all my bits and bytes to a bundle customized to suit my needs, with one convenient monthly payment. The pitchman has a very thick, semi-incomprehensible Indian accent.
I can understand why they would use people like that for a tech help desk, where you're the person in need and you're happy to talk to anyone who might be able to help, but it seems counterproductive to use these folks for unsolicited sales pitches. On the other hand, I have an equal opportunity attitude to any unsolicited sales calls. I hate them all.

I got a Shark steamer once and was disappointed. I love my Rowenta iron! Like Dyson, it's worth the extra (says the cheapskate).

I can see BigD wrappin his six iron around a tree.
And the tree taking it and throwing it in the water hazard on 16.

That was no tree, that was an Ent.

I can see BigD mixin it up with an Ent. He wouldn't be any match for the Ent, of course. Still, I would pay money to see that contest.

Just got a mental picture of the cops being called to laundromat in Montana-because of a very attractive, but eccentric woman-who keeps getting NEKKID at the laundromat/car wash.

I think they are busy with home snake invasions.

Oh, come on. That's the fastest way to get clean underwear -- and you know what your mom always told you about clean underwear....

I hardly ever iron and I even have one of those built in ironing board thingies, but when I DO iron, I use a Rowenta. (I prefer the dryer method like Tgirl)
