The Big Bang Theory

I didn't watch this show when it first aired, but I've started seeing episodes now that it's in How I Met Your Mother's old time slot.
I find it very funny. A couple things that cracked me up last Monday are things that remind me of here, especially the last couple of days.
The episode was about a Physics Quiz Bowl and how people care much more about proving they know all the answers than they do about being a team or even winning. I don't even think there were any iPhones on the line.
The other thing is this guy always has on a turtleneck under his shirts. After his team won, he got so excited that he tore off his t-shirt (Hulk Hogan style) and his turtleneck was, you guessed it, A DICKEY!

I love this show!
I remember the exposure of the dickey slightly differently, though. I thought he pulled it over his head as he dropped to his knees, and then waved it around (Brandi Chastain style). I don't think any of those guys would have the strength to literally tear off a shirt.

Weren't they wearing clip-on ties?

You might be right. I couldn't think of who he was evoking, but yes it was definitely a Brandi Chastain homage (with the twirling around the head). He had some difficulty getting it off, so I think that's where I got the tearing it off thought.
PS It's funny that you are the first to say you like the show, since I think of you when the opening credits are playing.

But Wallowicz is the one with the dickeys. So, I guess in the movie version, Sheldon will be playing the role of Evil Squirrel and Wallowicz will be playing ulysses5019.

I'm not sure how to take that. Since you hang out here, I
can't be the biggest nerd that comes to mind, so I will assume it is because of the great theme song by BNL. I'm still in shock over them being in the news this week for something definitely not good.

To be truthful, I don't know enough about you to know if you are a nerd and even if I did there's no way you could be the one person who comes to mind when I was talking about the physic quiz bowl thing. Ha!
So, yes, it's because of the BNL thing. I hadn't heard any news so I had to look up what was going on before I replied. Kind of surprising, but in the grand scheme of bad things, that's not the worst by a long shot.
I also learned of yet another Fayetteville, I wonder if they have tattooed whores in Fayetteville, NY?

I was watching last night and now the only thing I can do whenever he's on screen is stare at Wallowicz' dickey.
Meanwhile, I wonder if gs watches How I Met Your Mother. Last night was a repeat of Lily and Marshall's wedding and I kept thinking of him.

Nope. Haven't watched much sitcom or any other TV recently. That's one of the series I was semi-interested in when it first arrived, but never managed to remember when it was on.
Sitcom weddings are, by definition, successes by way of disaster. Ours will be perfect from start to finish, at least on the day of the wedding. The logistics and planning beforehand would put D-Day to shame, it sometimes seems.

LOL! "Perfect" weddings have problems that arise that you look back upon and laugh your ***es off.
Floods happen.
Heat waves happen when you are getting married in a church sans a/c.
You forget the fancy programs that you spent forever designing and have to have new "plain" ones printed the morning of the wedding.

Obviously, I forgot the sarcafont. But you did remind me about programs. At one point, my niece, who is a graphic designer, was going to do something about this. I don't know that we ever followed up. We may end up with none. So it goes.
