It's a point on the water, looking towards the land.

You're welcome.

I think that's the boat dock of New Otherton, except I don't think they have a golf course.

Since I have not seen every inch of coastline, no.

I would guess Molokai or something less built up. I don't think you can find this much coastline on Maui without a condo on it. :-)

Dona't recognize the rock either. There are a few of them.

I think it's Lanai - Manele Harbor, but I haven't found conclusive Google proof of that yet.

Oh yes you can! Absolutely nothing on most of the southern coast of Maui. Including rainfall. Or roads. Which is a big part of why it is empty...

The guess for Manele Harbor on Lanai sounds reasonable. But a little hard to confirm.

Sorry, but Kauai people often dis Maui people for letting them have the condos take over the island.

I'll try to behave better!

This is obviously a place that Bob has never lived.

Google Maps has an aerial view of Manele Harbor, but there's a partial cloud cover, so it's hard to verify. The big building in the photo might match the aerial view.

So why are you asking this, Bob? Are we helping you out with one of those online contests?

Yes, you were. It was in a computer-related blog.

I "won" a used iPhone. Since I have no use for one - and don't want anything Apple - I told the guy to give it to charity.

Wow!

So have you been there, inniskillin, or did you use some computer technique far beyond our mere, mortal abilities?

Really!

If you didn't want it, why would you not PM the person who gave you the correct answer.

'You' didn't REALLY win it!

Amazing.

In all fairness, we don't know whether Bob communicated with inniskillin by private message before disposing of the prize.

The person second from the left in the new avatar undergoes oral cancer surgery. My sister-in-law.

They will be at my house tonight so I can prepare dinner, her choice since she won't be eating for awhile.

Then to Yale-NH by 6:30 am.
