I believe I've noted before that I have two boomerang children living at home - my youngest, who graduated college and my second-oldest. The latter is looking for a place, and should be out by the end of the summer, the other one was waiting on job possibilities before deciding what to do. He was the one who was offered a job in Seattle, but who never heard back from them about salary and other information. So he's now working three jobs, has signed up for a fourth and will be interviewing for a fifth today. His current jobs are in the food service industry, the fourth is as a substitute teacher and the fifth, the one that I hope he gets, is working as an archivist for the local school system. This would be somewhat in keeping with his career goal (museum work).

top o' the mornin'®
Wow, I can't believe the run of
cards that were received yesterday, and I extend my condolences to all who got one.

I don't recall that you mentioned his getting an offer. But what happened? He asked about these details and they just cut off communication?earendel wrote:He was the one who was offered a job in Seattle, but who never heard back from them about salary and other information.

That's about it - he's tried calling back for the past two weeks but all he gets is voice mail and although he has left messages, whoever is at the other end hasn't called him back. So he figured he might as well move on to something else.MarleysGh0st wrote:I don't recall that you mentioned his getting an offer. But what happened?
