Angelina Jolie delivered her twins by C-section late yesterday in Nice, France. She had a boy named Knox Leon (who names their kid KNOX????) and a girl named Vivienne Marcheline (this SOUNDS French!). Mom, dad, and babies are all doing well.

Expect the first pics in People magazine in a few weeks.

While I wish anyone having a baby(ies) anywhere the best, this is one of those situations that I truly don't care anymore than I care about anyone else I don't know anything about.

I care about my neighbor's son who just had a baby.

We were told they were twin girls. Instead we get one boy, one girl. I've been digging around to see how these babies were actually conceived.....since they're twins and all, I have a feeling they fooled with Mother Nature.

Maybe that's common knowledge and I'm 9 months behind, but I'm like the beebs and really don't care if they have a dozen of em!

Somebody paid $11,000,000 for the rights to the first pictures.

Speaking of things to be apathetic about....

I wonder if the Fern can attend the fundraiser?

As long as zzzzzz's fit in with the biscuits.

I figured a lot of the participants would fall asleep. That's why I brought in Billy Mays.

We'll set the fern over by the old folks. It may even win the coverall....

Also, do we really know who the dad is?

Do we need to know? Or care?

High on a mountaintop in California is the Mount Palomar telescope.

For many years, it was the most powerful telescope in existence, able to see millions of light-years into the heavens.

Currently orbiting the earth is the Hubble Telescope.

Freed from the handicaps of atmosphere and ground light, the Hubble Telescope can scan billions of light-years throughout the universe.

But...

...if, somehow, you could put the Mount Palomar Telescope into the Hubble Telescope, you would still be unable to find my interest in Brad, Angie and the kids.

I only give a hoot because recent pop culture is a weak area. Stop wasting air time on news programs, though, and leave it to ET, People and the other gossip tabloids.

WGAS should be the only station carrying it.

And they're both human!

(I still crack up over that mock photo [space alien!] of the last Angelina baby every time I see it).

Marcheline is her recently-late mother's name. That's a classy choice. I don't usually associate Ms. Tatooed Vagina with "classy", but your late Mom's name is so much better than "Asparagus" or whatever actors I though were way classier wind up naming their kids.

about the gender determination:

If they did an amniocentesis, they'd know for sure in advance. But you don't want to do an amniocentesis unless you are testing for suspected birth defects, with the hope to correcting them in utero, or aborting, or just knowing in advance & preparing for them.

So I'd guess the usual sonogram was done. Sometimes you see the "boy determinant thingie" really well, some times you don't see it at all. I'd guess the latter was true here, especially with 2 little wigglers obscuring the view of each other in there.

Knox, hmmm? The other two boys' names also end in 'x,' for those brushing up on pop culture trivia. I understand the 11 mil will be going to charity, like the money paid for Shiloh's first pics. Also a very classy move.

Is it a bad thing when I say that I thought the same thing as NAP?

I'll definitely be looking for those twins' pictures on WGAS.

This looks like a perfect thread to hijack for the purpose of hunting for the 80,000 gus. :D

Somewhere in an impoverished Third World country, two kids are cussing because they realize they just lost the ultimate adoption lottery......*

*and that's not meant to be anti-adoption. It's meant to denigrate the Hollywood 'adopt your favorite matching accessory' baby trend.

This might sound a bit unorthodox, but I have to agree with you on that.

Dammit. I missed the gus by one.
