Starting Week 2 in the Buff

Lil' Buff had a great week and easily earned his field trip with his buds. I am taking him to the Strong Play Museum in Rochester today--last week we went to the stock cars races, next week to America's Team: the Batavia Muckdogs. I am thrilled with his performance in camp (and so are they)--so far, much better than the last two years.
And...perhaps the biggest beakthrough of all just this AM: Lil' Buff said Buffettina could play with his trains while he is gone. Might not seem like much, but you have no idea what a leap this was for him: caring about his baby sister enough to share his precious trains. Got all lumpy in the throat when I heard him say it.
It ain't easy coming up here every summer, but weeks like this make it worth every penny and ounce of sweat.
