Who knew cashmere came from...
Goats????
I would've guessed rabbit and been wrong. Goat hair always seemed so coarse, I can't imagine it being turned into cashmere.
Is this something everyone already knows and it's only a surprise to me?? Just wondering...

Kashmir (Changthangi) goat => Cashmere and Pashmina wool
Angora goat => Mohair
Angora rabbit => Angora wool
Angora cat => just for looks
No matter where you go, there you are.

Okay then, for all that I buy and wear, I guess I've just been ignorant as to its origin...
More importantly, I have to ask, where does one buy a pirate ship?? And where do they find these people??

Hey, you! My first pet was a white, blue-eyed, deaf Angora cat who was my pal from age six until high school. Be nice, or I'll tell Annie and Lizbit that you are good eatin'. (Annie won't fall for it, but Lizbit is young and hungry.)

I knew there was always a good reason I didn't taunt Lizbit!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

What does a pirate ship has to do with this?
Now as to where we find these people, it is very hars and we are very lucky.

You'd have to have been watching the show to get the pirate ship reference...the guy said if he won, he'd buy a pirate ship, and sail around the world in it. That's why I asked where they find these people...

I read the transcripts somedays, but not everyday.
Oh, and I thought you meant these people.
The stoopid ones they put on the show instead of some of us, NFC.

The host could only say wait, WHAT??? And the guy said something like, well do you know anyone who has a pirate ship? Ummmm okay...that's as good a reason as any...

And I didn't know you were talking about Duel. I don't know if there are transcripts.
Sorry, just waiting for FNGD to start and not really paying a lot of attention.

Well, not tonight although I wish I had a mojito. They sound good right about now!
Daughter1111 had 4 friends over for dinner and since that wasn't enough Son1111 had 2 neighbors join in.
Good thing pasta is cheap.

I am in Stratford, so it is my 8 also, but I did not see it on.
I was a little busy though.

My in-laws had a Standard Poodle named Schatzi. My mother in law knits and found a place that would spin the poodle's wool into yard. She was always going to make a sweater for the dog out of it's own fur but never did it.

Doesn't everybody have a pirate ship?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Can't speak for everyone but it was one of the many relatively easy answers, at least for me, that they had tonight. Many of the questions I could answer with a single chip from the safety and comfort of the lazyboy.
Unfortunately they had a bunch of rocks in the cast playing this episode. And the last guy who did do a little better was so over the top that he was rather annoying.
The woman he played against looked vaguely like some actress whose name escaped me.
In particular it looked like they were making the "max chip" round a little easier. Maybe it was just this episode.

Couldn't they come up with a better name for the "Max chip" or had all the good names been used on other shows? It's a "Doubler" to me, naming it from saying they've got "7 seconds, max" to answer that question is ridiculous.

It's a sponsor thing as I understand it because of Diet Pepsi Max.
Not that it makes the name suck any less as you point out.

I knew the cashmere question, but some of the OTHER questions had me scratching my head.
I thought that "I want to buy a pirate ship" was the most original use for prize winnings I'd ever heard. Maybe Marley should tell the BAM APs he wants to buy a castle to haunt!
I'm just a game show nerd.
