A suggestion for those still wading in the pool

Early on when I first joined the bored someone suggested I line up my PAFs early. The dolt I am, I didn't bother, mainly because I figured since I had no clue as to when a taping date would be (if it ever came), and being from Austin, I assumed I would have lots of time to interview and select my set of PAFs, and I wouldn't have to bother anyone by saying I don't know when it would be or even if would be called. I also assumed I would be able to select a group of 5 and would have plenty of time to do what needed to be done.
Boy, was I ever naive.
Knowing now what I know, start lining as many of them up as possible. Get a digital photo of them, get their essential details. Find the areas that they are strong as well as weak in. If you have done this before getting the call, you can quickly go down your list, find who is available and which grouping gives you the broadest knowledge base coverage and have the essential details to send to Millionaire in your limited time window. Trying to do all the requirements from scratch can be stressfull and this is not the time you want to be stressed out.
BTW, I would be happy to volunteer as a potential PAF if someone would like to start the process with me.
