Dance Nationals Update

#1 Post by Appa23 » Wed Jul 09, 2008 2:59 pm

Drive-by posting while waiting to take the family to Celebration City tonight.

Big day tomorrow. Princess Peanut makes her debut with her small group at Nationals. So, if you are not busy around 7:30 tomorrow night, you can send good vibes to Branson for the performance. There is a final round "dance off" if they place high enough. :)

Meanwhile, it also is our son's "Forever Family Day" and our 15th anniversary. Because, in our family, we try to pack all of the big moments into the same day. LOL!

So far, having a blast on this extended vacation.

since daddy didn't tell you what happened...and just in case you wanted to know....

PP did well, her small group dance got a Top First award and was in the top 25 dances...yahoo!
Her large group dance, otherwise known as a production(quite literally is...boys on stilts, belly dancers and a lot of clown white makeup!) received an Elite Top First award and placed 5th overall in it's division.

But the highlight of the week, is all the roller coasters at Silver Dollar City and Celebration City!

Very fun week for all, except for the baby...who now officially thinks her stroller sucks.

Thanks for the update, Ommax. Hurray for PP and her fellow dancers, and hurray for the baby, who sounds as if she's in a hurry to start dancing, too. (Stroller dancing is like air guitar. It may look interesting, but it's missing the essential contact that provides the most fun.)

Congrats, and thanks for checking in. Appa has been absent of late. Everything okay?

Thanks for the update -- I was thinking about your family. Glad to hear everything went so well.
