I would have been in the top 1000, but I missed a !@#$% Vocabulary question this morning.

You and me both, Nitrah! I'm in the top 3000 though......

I missed 3 in row when I was playing catch up. Stoopid stuff I never heard of.

Yes, it bothers me. But not what you think.

Yeah I've missed two this month and one was a complete idiot goof on authors.

I just missed my third one today. What bothers me more than that is I think I've only had one question so far this month that was answered correctly by over 50% of the people. Most have been in the low teens and a couple were single digits!

What did I do to piss off the Spoofus Question Gods?

You get those?!?!?

I usually only see 1 or 2 a month. <40% for almost everything I see, mostly in the random selection range (15-25%).

Now at work, it's a different story.....

I gave up -- I haven't played since last week, and six games were stacked up.

I should just take my time. I've "missed" two which I've known. Oh well. At least I know that EAP wrote Tell Tale Heart and that Yiddish derived from the Ashkenazi jews.

And that is the story of my month.

Books and Authors: You get who wrote The Tell Tale Heart. I get what kind of car did James Bond drive in some novel. Newsflash: The movies changed it and mean old Sploofus still put Aston Martin as a choice.

Oh, well, I had a sweet couple of weeks last month before the worm turned.

Oh yeah, clicked on Ashkenazi and didn't realise that it didn't take register but of course the click on the "answer" button did and said I didn't answer. Gotta just play and get my 1100 points.

I do that on quizzes a lot and it pisses me off. Sploofus should have changed it when they did the overhaul and made it so the submit wouldn't work if no answer is selected.

They made Kerblunk to where you can just click on the answer itself or the circle which makes it a lot easier.

We were having a breakfast party, so I didn't answer today's question until after noon.

Today I clicked on my unanswered questions to get the warning page. I had to go do something and then came back to the computer to get the final click to get my question. The question took forever to load and it counted against my time. Next time I will close the window and go back to the My Sploofus page to get my unanswered question.

Somebody else is somewhere in the top 3000 after finally coming home to collect the first 10 questions all at once, but not high enough that I -- I mean she, or maybe he -- wants to mention it.

I think I had a similar problem today, and I didn't wait to press the "final click." The question just took several seconds to load and this time was counted against me, and I know there was a problem because I knew the answer right away. I'm not glad to hear it's happened to you, but it's nice to know I'm not crazy. :?

I am at this very moment 34th overall. Amazing. I've been getting some pretty easy questions so far (only missed the July 1st q), so my luck should be running out very shortly.
