Don't know if those of you outside New York are getting this daily dish, but the Christie Brinkley-Peter Cook (an architect, not the actor) divorce trial is page one stuff here.
Yesterday, a psychiatrist said Christie should get custody of the kids, but both parents should get therapy. Cook was described as a "narcissist."
How much of a narcissist must this guy be, if he comes off as a narcissist compared to a supermodel?

How many divorce proceeding might be in progress in New York at the moment? How many others make the front page?

Yes, but this one has a guy at the computer 'amusing' himself while Christie Brinkley is in his bed.
Has a lot more fun things to hear about than most divorce proceedings.
But I really don't spend much time with the news these days. I prefer my head in the sand.

Ya, I check out the New York Post as well as the NY Times. I like the Post better--more dirt.
I will not defend Cook, but why can't Christie find a husband she can stay with? 4 times so far. Can't be all him every time.

I hear ya. Sometimes I think I'm only listening to the news to make sure I'm up to date on possible current events 'BAM questions.
I think there's a market for some media mogul to start GNN, the Good News Network. Nothing but positive news stories about the world, where and what things are working, how everyday (and famous) people and businesses are succeeding at what they do, and so on. If nothing else, the stories would serve as benchmarks for what can be done right in the midst of the same old crap that the regular news shows report on.

She obviously has poor judgement in men.
