Joe spoke to WWTBAM and yes it has something to do with a new "lifeline". I believe he said it was called "Help the New Contestant". (I'm sure they'll come up with a catchier term before the new season begins taping.) Didn't mention a webcam to him, just required to have a web connection. Asked him to pick a weekday he would be available.
That's all folks..
(And I guess my chances of making the hotseat are now officially nil. If they use Joe on the show, then technically I would be considered knowing personally someone involved with the production of the show.)
Does anyone know if 1 vs. 100 is taking applications...

The show is not on NBC's 2008-2009 fall schedule, though it still may return.

So they're going to add a fifth lifeline? Or are they replacing STQ?

I should hope so, since they're
all new contestants...

A good son would turn TPTB down to preserve your eligibility.
