Plus, it seems I mistakenly said I'd be at Shea at the end of June when I meant July. So there's ANOTHER absence planned...

I only meant to leave it at 1313 while I was gone to taunt the beastly one.

And we have a laptop, which we left behind, since we were ON VACATION, fercryinoutloud!

But I have crossed to the Dark Side--my husband dropped his phone and had to replace it right before the trip, so he got one for me while he was at it. I did NOT give the number to my m-i-l, and we have no bars here at home, so I have a fighting chance at not eating up all the minutes, since I don't intend to even turn it on unless I'm out the door...

Of course, some people would avoid beaches at all costs.... I doubt anyone would like one of my vacations.

When I think of vacations, I think of ballparks, hotels, lots of fast food, and the drive. Well, I can add dumping a lot of WG money in kinda far away places to the list too....

I love the trip as much as the destination, and fast food is a treat for me since I cook almost all the time, and we do ballparks and hotels and theme parks and casinos, but I wouldn't drag a laptop to any of those places, either...
