Well that wore me out. I can't imagine how the players feel.

Great match!

Vamos, Rafa! Viva Nadal! Fantastic consecutive sporting weekends for Espana...

Of course, all hail Federer, too. He played his kishkas out, and how often can a tennis player say he won seven games in each of three sets...and still did not win?!

What I savor about both these boys is their grace and sportsmanship, not to mention their mutual admiration. A wonderful rivalry and fantastic testament to what tennis in particular and sports in general should be.

My thoughts exactly. I'd have to lay down and die after doing what they did. Forget the gracious on-court interviews and all the other post-game PR! Give me a bed and IV fluids!

Fantastic match.

Did you happen to catch Federer's girlfriend reaching out and giving Nadal an appreciative pat on the leg when he climbed up to the roof to hug his parents? Very nice.

Federer had nothing to be ashamed of with his 'loss'. I can't recall seeing a more evenly matched and high-level game.

I loved the whole thing and was glad I watched it, but I thought it was a little much when during the post interview, John McEnroe asked for - and was granted - a hug from Roger Federer. Poor Nadal only got a fist punch.

Bollettieri's verdict. Always a fun guy to listen to...
