Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 36

Slow times. BD was off for a girl trip yesterday and today, possibly the last one she'll have time for. Spent yesterday with MoH and other friends, went today to deliver the dress GW has been altering to the bridesmaid. It was a successful trip for BD. She also found a nice dress and new bathing suit.
GW has started a FileMaker database for the RSVP's. The deadline for receipt is Monday. A surprising number have not returned them, including all of one part of my family, and, interestingly enough, the MoH. There's a reason we put a postage stamp on that inner envelope, folks! Oh well, we pretty much know who's coming and who isn't. Plus/minus a couple won't matter much, other than where they sit. Still more important is the official word of FSIL's attendance!
A bit embarrassing. I forgot the last name of BD's GF, and also that of the fiancee for my nephew. Had to ask them. I've been told both several times, but it apparently slid right off the brain surface. GW could not recall, either. If we have to get forgetful, at least we'll do it together.
Tomorrow, we get a visit from the guy who will dog-sit. Twelve hours-plus is too long for the elderly pooch to be inside. The guy also does regular house-sitting and is local, which may be convenient when we replenish the coffers and manage that Alaskan cruise.
