How much were the notebooks when you paid your visit to Mecca the other day?
I trolled our BTS aisle during lunch last night to scope out what all I plan to raid Thursday morning, and was quite shocked to notice that the notebooks were only a nickel....... five cents!!!! I don't think I've ever seen them that low before, and definitely not this early in the season! And of course, they were empty. Hopefully my co-workers will do a decent job of filling it up Wednesday night so I can stock up the next morning.....

Re: Hey Fanny!
You must have not read my reply to you explaining that one. I was referring to where they placed the notebooks and binders when they have the sale, not that they were out already.littlebeast13 wrote:How much were the notebooks when you paid your visit to Mecca the other day?

But, if yours are out now, I definitely have to go check it out on Monday! YAY!! I thought I had stacks of notebooks left, but when I went to get out a new one last night, I noticed that I'm down to three!!!1
Ours are usually six cents, although it seems that I have seen them for nine cents at another store, maybe that was the premium price when the sale started. Or it was just different, prices on some things vary wildly between stores. I've gotten the GV version of Nutri-Grain bars for $1.31 at my store and was shocked to see they were $1.96 at my sister's store.
I'm currently all cranked up for Staples 1 cent sale starting tomorrow. Dixon No. 2s for 1c per package! Sure, there are limits, but that's why God invented nieces and nephews. Ha!
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

They better have them out soon, or your store's management will probably get a nice spanking from the market head honcho!
Prices store to store can be vastly different. It all depends on the local competition, though our store (and I'd assume others) haven't been allowed to comp all year long, so the pricing variances are all home office controlled now. I guess they decide what everything should sell for in each area now....

You don't have to wait until Thursday, that's just me. The only time I ever do serious shopping is on payday Thursday mornings when I get my check. I only buy stuff on nights I work if I really gotta have it now because when 7:00 hits, all I want to do is just go home.....
