WWTBAM Bored

I can get into gmail at work, but not here at home with my squirrel-powered dial-up.

I'm assuming it's because I have a high-speed connection at work, but that makes no sense. I can still get into hotmail both places, also my local ISP-based E-mail, etc.

Any conjectures from you computer brainiacs are welcome.

I'm the last person that should be giving suggestions here. However there is something called web mail where you can put all your email account information in and pull up the mail. Maybe you could try something like that instead of trying through Google.

How about finding yourself a real beast of burden to power your dial up. We do not run in wheels like our caged cousins....
