Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 39

Nothing major to report. The whole "when FSIL applied for leave" thing seems to have been a misunderstanding from BD when told about it by FSIL. Whatever. We expect official word within a week. Preferably this week. Is there a "worrying" emoticon?

Why does Rhapsody think that Carlos Santana fits into the same category as Suzanne Ciani, Jim Brickman, Keiko Matsui and Wil Ackerman? I like Santana's music, but it's a bit jarring in contrast with the others.

An effort will be made to keep the house clean for the next 39 days. We will have people staying with us for the wedding. There will be too much else to do as the time nears to worry about picking up the clutter again. After they leave, who the heck cares?

Need to call PODS about the storage of BD's stuff. Like where exactly will the container be located, and will she have access to it during the storage period. Also need to call to arrange for the dog sitter. Our elderly pooch won't be able to handle being home alone for over twelve hours. Details, details.

It's nice to have good credit. GW brought up the cogent point that there will be a relatively large amount of money to be paid out this month for the vendors. I checked the credit limit on our primary charge card. Shouldn't be a problem. Still, I'll keep an eye on the charges, in case we get too close. Our secondary card will cover any excess. Then comes actually paying off the charges. Also not really a problem, and charging everything gets us an extra month on the savings account interest.
