I'm going to wait a while and see if someone comes by and nabs it....

It has to do with a rather major event in Bored history.... one whose legacy is still with us today, as can be plainly seen on the front page....

This is the image of the M-80 explosion that went off very near MBFFB. Since that time he has had incredible powers of insight and knowledge. It was all just a bizarre accident...

Well, with that clue, I'll guess it was the date of the first FNGD. Either that or the first posted transcript.

Not kidding. I wasn't posting on the Bored eight years ago.

Just lurking, from time to time... 8)

The most important knowledge is not in knowing a fact, but knowing where to find it. Which is why you should never tick off a librarian. They control information.

I did the August QoD that year.... although it wasn't called the "August QoD", as there was no QoD tradition set up at that point.

I still have all my answers and points to that QoD, but not the questions....

And of course, Sprots is correct. This is the 8th anniversary of the first QoD question being posted, which asked, in some form or another, for the creature with "jaws that bite and claws that snatch"..... thus why I teased Marley when he posted that portion of the poem...
