WooHoo!
I answered my sploofus q and I'm number 29........ok, now I'm 38 and falling like a rock. I don't see any bored names up there. But then most bbs are asleep. Now I'm 42 so I'll stop before my ego takes any more of a beating.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

When I installed the new computer, I redid how my network is set up. I think that my online speed is faster. Tonight I hesitated before I answered on an easy question, so I was shocked that my time was so good.ulysses5019 wrote:I swear I answered as fast as I could. I ended up with 1206. Gotta quit playing on my laptop. BTW, you're 17 now. That's always the way it is at the beginning of the month.PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:I am #9!

Gee, I wonder were all that new competition came from? Its fun to see all the familiar names, I just wish they weren't all ahead of me.Here's Fanny! wrote:Competition must be stiffening up.
Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
