Remember, the category is GRASS. If you haven’t played the regular Jeopardy! Round yet, please go do that first. I’ve also found (it only took me four weeks) that it really does work better if you state your wager in THIS thread, rather than the other one. Your wager only affects today’s points, so wager none, one-fourth, one-half, or all of your points.

Oops. Like I can remember the random number I put down 2 minutes ago. Given the choices here, I think all of my points comes the closest.

Who is Karen Grassle?
Damn, where in hell did she come up with that? Was she trying to follow the Michael Learned success formula? Although old Eugene there is a fine one to talk about using your real name. Ha!

I bet it all on the Daily Double.
Darn it...
Who is not Michael Learned?
Who is Karen somebody?
Who is an actress, like many others, who is so good at her craft that she becomes her character and the actress behind the role completely disappears for me?
Wait! Wait! The category is Grass, you say...
Who is Karen Grassley? Final answer!

Given my general lack of success in the DD I will go with only half my points.mrkelley23 wrote:Daily Double

Should have wagered nothing again as I have no clue. Rarely if ever watched the show and even if I had not sure I would know. Who is Gabriele Grass?

I will guess Gabriel Grass, because I do not know. I never saw that Ingalls show.

As with the TV show, I decided to accept answers in the regular round if they didn’t significantly change what the pronunciation of the word would be. Same with the Daily Double here, so “Grassley” is okay, for instance.
Points:
VaDame 60 + 30 = 90
Jarnon 24 – 6 = 18
Fanny 40 + 40 = 80
Mcd1400e 60 + 30 = 90
Marley 40 + 40 = 80
Tgirl 60 + 60 = 120
Tan 40 –20 = 20
Catfish 16 + 16 = 32
Bob#s 32 32
Jbg 40 + 20 = 60
KT 44 - 44 = 0
AJ 60 + 60 = 120
Tbone 40 + 0 = 40
Confessor 60 60
AnnieC 60 + 0 = 60
Kroxquo 48 + 48 = 96
Frogman 48 – 12 = 36
LFHP 12
Nelly 40 + 20 = 60

Not that it matters or anything, but in the other jeopardy thread I said I'd bet it all on the daily double, which I didn't attempt to answer because I've never heard of Karen Grassle. So to be fair, I think my total should be zero for this day. I'd hate to achieve my monthly ranking under false pretenses. (Are there ever "true pretenses"?)

Now that I know your state of mind, I probably should take your points away, but my eyes are already crossed from all the updating I've been doing, so you'll just have to settle for your own personal asterisk.TheConfessor wrote:Not that it matters or anything, but in the other jeopardy thread I said I'd bet it all on the daily double, which I didn't attempt to answer because I've never heard of Karen Grassle. Seriously, whenever I don't see a response in the Final J! thread, I just assume that person forgot to play or something, which is one of the reasons I finally wised up to asking people to put their wagers in the DD thread. So your place is not under false pretenses by the rules as they were made up as we went along by me. Thanks for your honesty, though.
