Woohoo! Gratuity pays, and I'm not reporting it to the IRS either. Can I leap several posters in a single bound this week?

I am shocked--shocked--that notebookboy would make a mistake like this in the sacred rankings!

Rankings and how they work confound me. I've been quiet as a church mouse this week what with no laptop (I finally got it back yesterday), but I move up one. I needed that since I'll be traveling all next week and imagine posting will be very sparse.

It all depends on how far way you are from the person in front of you.

Last week, Spock went up 2 places despite only making 6 posts that week because he was very close to the competition in front of him.

On the flip side, Marley can make 5,000 posts this week, and he'll still be at #3....

I love this week's title! That is one of my favourite bits and I think I've even riffed on it with you once or twice here.

The kids are out at my brother's for several weeks and he is taping the HBO2 stuff for me from last night and tonight. So once they come back after Fourth of July, I'll have like 12 hours of Carlin at my disposal!

Not to mention that toilet cleaner that I've carried on about before and I can only get in Nebraska.

Ha, we even had a toilet cleaner reference in there (I must have been using the Fanny with the toilet cleaner avatar at the time).

Dusting off the ol' memory.... at that time, I was using the hernia jug avatar, and since you said you had that exact same jug in your house at the time, I said to be a ganuine fanny cleaning product, it needed Feline Fanny prancing around it.... but I'm pretty sure that was a reference to the past, and you were not using it at the time. As I recall, during most of your LS run, you were avatarless, and added the Herb Alpert pic just before you went on your month long sabbatical...

Still in triple digits.

At least I didn't drop again. I surmise that I am more catching up on those ahead than being caught up to by those behind.

Aren't you planning on an extended 4th of July celebration somewhere, hopefully, with no internet connection?

Thanks as always for doing this, LB.

I notice that the Buckles comic strip has an evil squirrel in it. Here's something for your buddy:

And here's for you:
