Look at the close up slow mo replay.
None of the fans have their heads up looking at the ball. They are all looking down watching the girl. why?
And the ball just sort of drops straight down to her. Not a waining arc of a fly ball.
But it is fun to watch.

It's certainly an amazing fabrication of an amazing play. The ball girl is a stuntwoman who was lifted by cables as she planted her feet against the wall, a sequence cut into actual game footage and enhanced with a bit of CGI and a perfectly natural-sounding announcer track.

That's good to know. I kept trying to figure out how she would have time to plan that specific footwork and turn to the left.
