It takes a while for the DNS update to propagate.

I just went and got the "expired domain" page

I can't explain that. Every link on the page works, including many that I've never looked at before.

I've never been to the page before, and I only see the error message when I click on the link.

Strange, indeed. I can even listen to all of the audio interviews. I'm listening to an interview with Kate Pahls, a contestant on The Mole. Everything's working flawlessly for me.

They certainly have some nasty, unpleasant posters on that board. Do you know what's behind their antipathy toward Steve Beverly? Was there some incident that ticked them off, or what?

I know that Network Solutions sends me notices eery day or two when my websites need to be renewed, but I guess it's possible if he used someone else to register his domain name, they might not have been quite so proactive in letting him know he needed to renew.

I found that board by googling tvgameshows.net yesterday. So I do not know anything about their past.

Most of the people on that message board used to be members of alt.tv.game-shows, like me. Given that, I can tell you with absolute certainty that most of the people there are arrogant, dishonest, deceptive, slanderous, or just plain lacking in intelligence. There are some good people there, and I do feel sorry for them that they have to be surrounded by all the bad apples.

Mean people other boreds are why I'm grateful for THIS pleasant, thoughtful, witty bored!

I am a member of that board. Some people don't like Steve Beverly because when his site was a daily site, he would sometimes not use journalistic standards in his reporting, even though he teaches journalism at a college. There were some times where he was inaccurate in his reporting. He has also made some comments about some groups that put some people off. Some people think he is full of himself. I also think some people are jealous of his success. Steve knew how to market himself as a "game show expert" during the primetime revival of game shows earlier this decade.

I personally don't have any problems with him. I appreciate the work he does.

Yeah, the site is back up! At least for me both home and work (not blocked there... yet!) Hopefully the correct DNS info will "propagate" its way to everyone soon.
