The number of teenagers in my house doubled over the weekend.
Emily is now 13.
She's good at it. She's been practicing for about a year.

My Sweet Margaret and I had three boys. I've been told that that is much easier than girls (Margaret was one of four girls). I've been told that the best way to deal with girls is to put them in a coma on their 13th birthday, then wake them up on their 21st birthday. With boys, it was mostly just a question of making sure we had a lot of meat and chips in the house.

As the mother of three boys, now in their 20s, I completely concur. I spent at least a month with my two pre-teen nieces on Saturday. ack!

As the father of 2 girls, I must say that personally, I have no clue which is easier. I do know that Mrs. Rexer, with over 20 years experience as a nanny, wished, hoped and prayed that her children would be boys. This is another reason for her unrelenting anger.
