Wedding Blog: BD**2 - 46

Chose the tux and got fitted today. I'm into the more traditional look, and BD did not want any of the funky colors, like watermelon or coral or bubble gum. Men's Wearhouse, two button notch lapel, black, silver geometics vest, black and silver cufflinks and studs, all accessories. I'll look good, firmly lodged in a tie for fifth behind BD, FSIL, and the tied-for-third two mothers. Tied for fifth with FotG and HS, naturally. HS gets his fitting tomorrow after I take him to a doctor's appointment. One more item checked off the to-do list.

The back room was cleared, and the boxes to be moved are being put in there. The back room stuff is now downstairs. Both areas have room to spare at present. That won't last.

GW is losing it. Not feeling well with allergies anyway, and not knowing officially about FSIL's leave is taking its toll. I'm trying to help, but she's not letting me. The upcoming shower and cleaning the house for it ain't helping her mood either. It's not gonna be a fun week.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Sweetheart, reminder GW that stessing over what you can't contol is a waste of energy. I did not stress over the weather for this weekend because the idea was to gather and get everyone together. Okay, having the groom not show up is a nother story. But there is nothing GW can do about it,

Yeah, but she's also stressing about the stuff she CAN control. Like the house cleaning. And me and my role and labors in this. The FSIL situation is just an overlay.
