Speaking of thongs

Police are hunting two robbers who failed to grasp a fundamental rule of crime - mask your identity.
Rather than ensuring their faces were covered, the dozy duo opted for a more fashionable but less effective disguise.
CCTV cameras caught them at a Colorado convenience store wearing thongs over their faces.
The ladies' underwear, which leaves little to the imagination, was a far from sensible choice.
One wore a green thong while the other opted for blue - but the pair's nose, mouth and chin were barely covered.
The rest of their face was clearly visible, police in Arvada say.
Officers also have a few more clues to work with as one of the men failed to cover up a distinctive tattoo on his arm.
Stolen cigarettes and cash they took from the on-duty worker were also stashed away in his pink backpack.
The men, believed to be in their 20s, were not armed.

Well, hey,
no one wears pantyhose or stockings anymore!
And could anyone remember
anything about them, other than the fact that they had underwear on their heads?? I guess now, in the days of ever-present security cameras, that wouldn't matter though.
Years ago when my first husband was managing a Stop-n-Go, there was an incident (not at
his store, fortunately!) where a guy pulled a robbery with a very odd disguise. He stuck pencils up his nose. Nothing else, just pencils up his nose! And
that was all anyone remembered!
Was he short, tall? Black, white, something else? Old or young? Hair color? Fat or thin? What was he wearing?
I dunno officer -- but he had pencils up his nose!
And he was never caught.

Just this week we had a bank wide review of our dress code and quality service standards.
Under the personal appearance category is this:
appropriate undergarments are to be worn at all times.
I asked if I could continue to wear my thongs and was told I could as long as they were not visible. All righty then.
One good thing is we went from "must" to "encouraged" for men to wear shirts and ties. I WILL be wearing less ties in the future. I am really tired of wearing them.

So who is responsible for the inspections? And don't tell me it's wb.
