8 Years Ago Today...

The Bored looked really strange. It wasn't something that you could see that made it odd, it was something that was missing altogether....
June 19, 2000 was the last day there was no post by someone calling themselves "littlebeast13" appearing on an official version of The Bored.....

Congratulation on your 8th Bored anniversary and the continuation of your posting streak, beast!
Although, if I'm parsing your post correctly, your anniversary isn't actually until tomorrow...

My 8th Bored anniversary was last month. Tomorrow's the anniversary of the start of The Streak...
Not only did I not post everyday the first month I was here, but between 6/2 and 6/14/00, I only posted on one day.... the 8th. I did post on the 15th-18th, so it kinda sucks I missed the 19th... woulda added another 5 days to the run....

No, I started off as Beast the Newbie!
I was out of town on the 5th-7th, then my WTVT® broke down on the 9th and it took the ^@*(^# cable company a week to address the problem. In the interim, I missed teebee's grand entrance onto the Bored.... ah, memories!
And Wacky Wednesday's anniversary is Saturday.... sigh.... pardon me while I get a tissue.....

Wow and to think that the bored shares the same birthday as my youngest daughter - but my daughter is 1 year older then the bored!

The official Bored Birthday is November 23rd. All Bored History is reckoned from that day in 1999 when gusgerbils got the first post in Bored history....

No, and I pointed that out at the time! I had no idea after being here just a month how much this Bored was going to change my life in more ways than I could imagine....
And I just realized I invoked the year 2008 in that post! Guess I didn't figure I'd be a comfortable #8 in the rankings that year, hell, I can't imagine I thought I or even this Bored would have still been here....
