Tired for the wrong reasons

Everyone else in New England is tired from celebrating the Celtics win. I'm tired because my furshlugginer airplane didn't take off from Newark until the time it was supposed to have landed in Manchester. It's all I can do to keep my eyes open.

More later, after I catch up on work and transcribe my notes from the audit.

It's still a good morning. :D
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I think the lady may be right. No clue on the reason. I suspect a weather issue earlier in the day just kept cascading. I know there was hail in southern New England yesterday afternoon.

Coulda been worse. The pilot was saying that we might sit in line for takeoff for an hour, which didn't happen. Of course, he could have just been saying that so we'd be happy when he took off earlier than that, even though it was a hour-and-a-half later than originally scheduled.

Whatever. I agree, Bob, I wish I had known about the delay ahead of time. Would have been nice to stay and trivialize some more with you and the others.

I haven't taken a flight out of EWR in the past two or three years without enduring some kind of delay, either on the inbound or the outbound. When I was coming back from Montreal about three weeks ago, the flight was delayed about 4 hours because of "problems at Newark". No specified problem, just congestion. It's always like that. But it's 15 minutes from my house, so I suck it up.
