Here I thought I had just had a random opportunity to be part of a Disney movie with a Tennessee connection. Turns out that millions were spent in the effort to secure that opportunity:

Our local alternative weekly newspaper's feature article last week was about the film industry in Kentucky and how the legislature has refused to grant film studios the kind of monetary breaks that other states give. The article particularly cited Tennessee for its largesse.
